Finding Markets and Understanding Odds
Choosing the right market and being able to read odds are the core skills of betting.
When you enter okz Bet, the left panel shows a list of sports — cricket, football, tennis, badminton and various other sports events. Clicking on a preferred event brings up a list of markets on the right: match winner, handicap, over/under and more.
Odds on okz are usually shown in decimal format, but fractional and American formats are also available. These three formats are simply different expressions of the same value.
Example — Team A to win, stake ৳200: Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. If you win, you get back ৳600 (৳400 profit + ৳200 original stake); if you lose, ৳200 is gone.
For favourites, the odds are lower. For example, Team B to win: Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400. On a ৳200 stake you get back ৳250 (৳50 profit).

Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Adding one selection creates a single bet; adding more than one creates a multi bet.
Clicking on the odds of any market adds it to the bet slip on the right. Enter your stake amount there and see the potential return. When everything looks good, press the "Confirm Bet" button.
Single bet example — In a cricket match, Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's are 2.75. Placing ৳1,000 on Team B returns ৳2,750 if Team B wins (৳1,750 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳1,000.
Multi Bet — Adding multiple selections multiplies the odds together. Three selections at 1.40, 1.60 and 1.70 combined: 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 3.81. On a ৳100 stake the return is ৳381 — but all three selections must win; if one loses, the entire ৳100 is gone.
Multi bets offer higher returns but also higher risk, because all selections must win. It is better for new bettors to start with single bets.
If all three selections win, you get back ৳381. If any one loses, you lose your entire stake.

Betting During a Match
Even after a match starts, odds keep changing and new bets can be placed. This is called in-play or live betting. When a wicket falls or a team's run rate changes in a Bangladesh Tigers match, the odds update instantly. The live betting section on okz shows real-time updates for active events.
BACK and LAY Betting
On a betting exchange you bet against other users, not against the site. If you BACK Team A with ৳500 and Team A wins, you gain ৳400 (decimal 1.80); if they lose, you lose ৳500. If you LAY Team A — betting that Team A will not win — and Team A does not win, you gain ৳500; if they win, you pay ৳400 (before commission).
Bet History — Checking Open and Settled Bets
After placing a bet, it appears in the "Bet History" or "My Bets" section of the dashboard. An open bet means the match is still in progress or the result has not come in yet. A settled bet means the match is over and the outcome — win or loss — has been determined.
For each bet you can see: the selection name, odds, stake, potential or final return, and status. For winning bets, the return is automatically added to your account balance.
